attach mass spring to the model

I can't attach my 1d spring to the model i used. it's successfully attached in modeling but when doing normal modes, the results showed no different between the model with spring and without spring. i'm assuming the spring do not attach correctly in the model so the results  with the model without spring is the same. how should i attach the spring so the result will be correct? i also attached the FEM file thank you.

when you defined your CELAS1 element, you have defined that stiffness is only present in the DOF1 (Global X) direction.

So, because of that, there is only stiffness in global X direction and no load/movement is trasfered in the other directions. You should review your spring orientation or maybe use another type of spring, depending on what you're modeling.
