Export fastener bodies created in Inspire into SimSolid

In this video, we demonstrate the process of exporting geometrical representations of fasteners from Inspire into SimSolid. Often, when we’re ready to simulate fastener pretension in SimSolid, we realize the necessity for actual fastener bodies. The Inspire fastener tool simplifies the creation of bolts and nuts, automatically finding aligned holes and generating the necessary fastener sets.

Simply exporting the model as a geometry file won't include these fasteners, since they are visual representation of 1D elements in the following arrangement:

To ensure the visual representation of these fasteners turns into actual bodies, switch to SimSolid as the solver in Inspire preferences and export a project.
