Generate Smooth Loading Function for Radioss in HyperMesh

Overview

The script generates a smooth curve in RADIOSS template (/FUNCT) for loading with optional hold an unloading, with specified amplitude, times and number of data points. This curve is then referenced to e.g. in cards for applied load or displacement (/CLOAD or /IMPDISP)

Note: Starting with Radioss 2020 you can create a smooth curve from a set of discrete points using the /FUNCT_Smooth option. For more information refer to /FUNCT_SMOOTH.

Usage/Installation Instructions

Run tcl-script and follow instructions.

Limitation

Only checked in RADIOSS template to generate /FUNCT
