These scripts were developed to demonstrate Newmark Beta Method used by OptiStruct linear transient analysis.
Usage/Installation Instructions
Script 1: transient_analysis_SDOF.oml
This script illustrates single degree of freedom (SDOF) linear transient analysis employing the Newmark method.
Script 2: transient_analysis_MDOF.oml
This script illustrates multiple degree of freedom (MDOF) linear transient analysis employing the Newmark method.
Script 3: newmarkmdof.oml
This function utilizes the Newmark method for calculations and provides response results as output.
Model 1: mdof_trans_ex1_dtran.fem
This OptiStruct model corresponds to the MDOF model analyzed using script 2.
