Create Derived Load Cases From Excel *csv

Overview

This script helps to create derived load cases (linear superpostion) based on an Excel template (attached). It is easier to define many superpostions in Excel than in HV, this script just converts the *csv into a *cfg that could be imported into HyperView.

Usage/Installation Instructions

1. Create Excel load case matrix (see attached template).

2. Export it as *csv .

3. Run script (*csv has to be selected). The *cfg will be created.

5. Import *cfg in DerivedSubcaseGUI.


Limitation

Be sure to set the subcase IDs in Excel correctly
