Create One Prop + One System Per Element to Define Orientation

Overview

The macro assigns orientation given by lines to Elements. This is supported for 2D (Nastran/OS/Radioss) and 3D (Nastran/OS/Abaqus/Ansys). For Solids, you need face elements to use get the normals(z-direction) in addition to lines (x-direction). There's also an addon for Nastran/OS to calculate THETA from MCID (MCID2THETA.tcl). Fill ORIENTATION name for Abaqus systems.

Usage/Installation Instructions

You have to source oribyline.tcl. It opens a tab with the function.

Limitation

Currently only windows is supported! Only certain props are supported, but might be enhanced easily.
