EDEM API - Contact Model Example: Hertz Mindlin with Alternative Restitution (overdamping)

Overview

Here you will find a modified version of the Hertz-Mindlin contact model which is using the contactFactor function in order to prevent overdamped contact when using many spheres to define a particle shape.

There are two videos showing the restitution of two cylinder identical, one model with 3 spheres, one model with 5 spheres, using the standard Hertz-Mindlin contact model or this modified one.
