Knowledge Studio 2022.3 Now Available!

Knowledge Studio 2022.3 is a release with major enhancements and bug fixes. The enhancements include more advanced and granular model control for Keras Deep Learning and XGBoost models, as well as model validation and scoring enhancements for Keras Deep Learning, XGBoost, and Scorecards. The updated Altair License Utility included in this release enables easier Managed License activation with AltairOne login.
Predictive Models
- Enhanced Keras Deep Learning model wizard for more granular model control, pre-processing and post-processing, including imputation, scaling, optimizer, and early stopping options.
- Enhanced and optimized XGBoost model wizard includes GridSearchCV and Bayesian Optimization (OptunaSearchCV). No output dataset is created after model training.
The added options provide more power and flexibility for these Python-based models. Hyperparameter tuning capability and optimization options added in XGBoost ensure more accurate model results.
Model Validation and Deployment
- Model Validation node is enabled for the Keras Deep Learning model.
- Refactored Scoring code for Keras Deep Learning.
- Scoring can now be applied to Scorecard models imported from PMML.
A single model validation node applicable to all model types including Keras Deep Learning ensures a seamless and consistent user experience when performing validation tasks. Scoring code for Keras Deep Learning is easier to review and reuse. Scorecard models imported from external sources can now be scored just like the native Knowledge Studio Scorecards.
License Management
- This release includes the latest version of Altair License Utility (15.1), which allows users to authorize their machines for Managed Licenses simply by entering their AltairOne credentials.
This simplifies the activation of Knowledge Studio with a Managed License by removing the need to generate an authorization code at the Altair One website.
