constraint in shape optimization

Hello
i am doing a shape optimization of a component with some holes. my constraint is, during optimization the center distance of the holes should be with in a particular upper and lower bound.

could any one please tell me how to incorporate this constraint ?

Satish,

There is a way to constrain the size of the holes for your component. This would be taken care of in the free shape panel. You would have to define the nodes that you want to be constrained (the nodes around the hole) in the create subpanel. Once you have defined those nodes, using the parameters subpanel, you would then define your limits there.

Now depending on the analysis type you are running, you would then define the design constraints for the analysis type there.
