FLD strain time history in Hyperview

Hello all,
I am currently using Hyperview to evaluate an Abaqus simulation.
It is about the evaluation of the main deformation changes in the forming limit diagram.

I would now like to output the strain paths at individual points of my deep drawn part in the FLD.

For this purpose, the path of an element in the strain space over time should be plotted.
I can also manually copy the 1st/2nd principal strains at each point in time into Excel. But surely there is a more elegant way directly in Hyperview?

I hope it is understandable what I mean.

Thank you,
Many greetings

    Hello Stephan,

As you're looking at pincipal stress, shortest way to do it is probably to create a Measure of type Elemental contour (need first a contour to be applied), then from the Measure to plot the signal in HyerGraph.

    So basically:

    1) plot P1

    2) From the Measure type Elemental contour, send the measure to a HyperGraph plot

    3) plot P3

    4) Repeat step 2, you can send the measure in the same window than step 2

Now you have two signals P1 vs time and P3 vs time

    5) Crete a new curve in HyperGrpah with x=P1 and Y=P3

    Hope this helps,

    Regards,

    Michael
