Unable to install Hyperworks Student Edition

Hello there.

I recently applied for student edition license of Hyperworks, it was approved and have got an email containing lic.dat file and bundled setup file link.

When I click on  link, nothing happens, I've to manually copy link in another tab and download. After downloading, when I open the setup file, the extraction wizard opens up, reaches 100 % and closes. Nothing further happens.

Please let me know how to proceed further with the installtation.

There was a suggestion to check the checksum value. It is different than the one in one of the subsequent thread. Please let me know what to do further.

if the checksum does not match, it means the exe is corrupted during download, you must use an alternative / better internet connection and provider for example to ensure downloads happen fully and correctly.

 

Sufficient disk space for install: Installing the package requires around 11 GB of disk space. The temp space used by the installer will be freed after successful completion of an installation.

 

Make sure you have full permissions and rights in the location you are installing.
