AltAir HyperWorks (Student Edition) on Linux OS

Hello friends,

For my thesis, I need to run Altair's HyperWorks (specifically HyperMesh and OptiStruct) on a Linux OS. I am currently using Kubuntu 23.10.

My student request got approved, but unfortunately, the download file is for Win64.

// Please excuse my post, as two similar ones have already been asked. Since they are outdated, I was wondering if there is a solution by now.

Hi,

 

as far as I've found, for now, still only Windows.

Depending on what is your university, you could check if there is an academic license available, that would allow you to use on Linux. (not sure if Kubuntu)
