Why are all the values in my mass matrix 1?
Hello everyone, I am running a modal analysis/frequency response analysis on my model that is set to find 600 modes, and I am trying to extract the mass matrix. However, the mass matrix I read is filled with only values of 1 and 0, is this right? if not does anyone know what could be causing that error? Pictures of the output is attached below, with the first and second figures illustrating the first and second matrix outputted amongst the 601 resultant ones. Thanks in advance for all the help!

Hi,
this file is used to save generalized stiffness and generalized mass matrix.

By default, eigenvectors are normalized to the unit value of the generalized mass. That's why you see unit values in the mass matrix.
