Section forces and moment as output in Optistruct

Hi,
I would like to get forces and moments on a defined section of 3D Bolt as an output in text format in Optistruct non-linear case. 

Can you please guide me in such case?

Hi,

You have to create a section in HM and OptiStruct will write the forces in the .out file.

You can also use FBD tool in HV for using free body diagrams:
Request GPFORCE(H3D,FBD) = ALL - When asking for GPFORCE you can see these forces by using FBD in the HV session (select advanced options).
