In MATS1 what is the difference between the A parameter of H=4 (JOHNSON-COOK) and LIMITS1?

I am struggling with the explanation given in the help desktop in MATS1 description:

What is the difference between the A parameter in H=4 (JOHNSON-COOK) and LIMITS1?

Is RSTRT the real total deformation where plastic deformation beggins?

If I am trying to model a quasistatic non linear test should the parameter C be the only one that equals 0?

I have also build another model where the stress-strain law of the material is given via TABLES1 with a curve generated in excel using the same JOHSON-COOK formulation with the same A B C and n parameters and I am getting different results.

for explicit, in general, i understand A = LIMIT1 = Initial Yield Stress

 

R is a ration between your yield stress compared with static curve.

 

 

With C equals to zero, there's no strain rate effect. But QuasiStatic is NLSTAT loadcase, diffferent from the Explicit approach at which JC hardening model is applied.

 

About your model differences, more info is needed.
