Exporting Tangential and Radial Forces for Each Stator Tooth in Fluxmotor

Problem Statement: When exporting forces in Fluxmotor, one encounters the issue of obtaining tangential and radial forces for each stator tooth. However, the exported forces are not directly provided as tangential and radial components. Instead, they are dependent on the coordinate system centered at (0,0) in the Cartesian coordinate system.
Is there an internal solution available to transform these forces? If not, is there a method to output the precise position of the first stator tooth, referenced as the initial tooth in Fluxmotor, enabling subsequent coordinate transformation to derive the tangential and radial components?

Thank you in advance, your support is greatly appreciated.

    Hello;

    If you manage to export the forces, and you have the angular position of the tooth, and you have Fx, and Fy, then you can use the conversion method described in this FAQ: Tutorials, How To, Troubleshooting - How can I compute normal and tangential forces on a region in Flux? (altair.com)

    PS: The angular position of the tooth is fixed, and the 1st tooth on on OX axis is tooth one at 0°, and the seconde tooth position is at (360/number of tooth)°

    Regards

    Hello,

    Thank you for your message and for your time. Regarding the position of the first stator tooth at 0°, I did not find any specific information in the Fluxmotor documentation. Do you happen to know if this information is specified in the documentation? If so, could you kindly provide the link to this matter?

    Kind Regards.

    Hello Martin;

    Your are welcome!

    You can for instance see it from the link below on the Definition of the slot angular shift
