Altair Hyperworks Error code 9 with student license

Hello,

I have installed Altair Hyperworks and followed the tutorial to install the student license and the software is sending the error code 9 :

License error:
Altair License Manager: License error
Feature(s): GlobalZoneEU, HyperWorks, HWRadioss
Error Code: 9
Error Description:
Feature not found
Feature: Radioss
Error Code: 9
Error Description:
[LOCAL] C:/Program Files/Altair/2022-edu/security/altair_lic.dat - (Err: 9) Feature not found
License Path: C:/Program Files/Altair/2022-edu/hwdesktop\security\altair_lic.dat;C:\Program Files\Altair\2022-edu\security\altair_lic.dat;C:/Program Files/Altair/2022-edu/security/altair_lic.dat

I have already tried anything that is on the troubleshooting page for the student license and I'm still getting this error. I have also verified that the mac address is correct, my computer only has a wifi adapter address and no ethernet adapter mac address. The path also has been added to the environment variable.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I have tried everything shown on the link and in the video and nothing worked. On my computer, I have no Ethernet adapter, so I used the Wi-Fi adapter mac address.

    Whenever I go in the license setup of Hyperworks I get the following message in License Log:

    Hi,

    Make sure that you are not connected to VPN while using the software.

    Could you share a screenshot of the environmental variables set on your system?

    I verified I am not connected to a VPN while using the software.

    Can you please check if you are using the correct Ethernet/Host ID or run ipconfig/all in the command window and send the output here?

    Hi,

    As I don't have any Ethernet port on my computer and that no Ethernet address is showing in ipconfig, I am using the Wifi Network mac address. You can see all the elements in the screenshot below:

    The mac address displayed in the Wifi adapter with the Intel adapter is the same as in the license file.

    Use the license file with the Wi-Fi network mac ID - 04-E8-B9-5C-C5-33.

    Make sure only one copy of the license file is saved on your computer. If you have saved another copy at some different location then please delete it.

    Please uninstall the software completely and install it again. Follow the below articles in the given order to install the software and activate the license file successfully.
