Which control cards do I have to imply for Modal Analysis and for quasi-static loads in Hypermesh?

I want to do a modal analysis and a quasi-static analysis with only the g force on my model. The results should show me the stress and the displacement of my model, and through the modal analysis the Eigenmode. Which control cards do I have to use? Or is there an overview of when to use which cards?

I´m using the student version of Hyperworks 2021.

These ebooks might help you, specially the first one, that presents the basics of these analyses.

    But answering your question:

    Modal analysis needs:

    - SPC (if not a free-free modal)

    - load collect EIGRL or EIGRA, with number of modes, or frequency range.

    NonLinear Quasi-Static

    - SPC

    - LOAD  >> you can assign a load collector of type GRAV with gravity acceleration.

    - NLPARM (mandatory for NL. It might be for Small or Large Displacement).

Yes I know about these settings. But I meant the control cards like "Global output request". Which one of them do I need?

OS by default will write Displacement and Stresses in H3D format for linear static and modal loadcases.

But if you want to explicitely request them, you can go to:

    - GLOBAL_OUTPUT_REQUEST and add Displacement and Stress (H3D)

This will apply to all of your loadcases.

Or go to each loadcase individually and add these requests, under the OUTPUT option of each loadstep.
