Unix installation help

Dear Altair EDEM community,

I am trying to install EDEM onto a Unix computer. I ran the installer and I am trying to open the edem.exe in the /bin by using "./edem" but this is generating an error. I am trying to look online for support on how to input licensing information and it says that a license manager should open on the first run of the product but in this case I am not even able to access the license manager. Would anyone know what is going on?

Hi Trisha,

What kind of license do you currently have?  

If you have a on-premise or node locked license you can use the ALTAIR_LICENSE_PATH environment variable to point towards the server
