Hello,

I found that there are quite a few examples that do Flux in SimLab.

I am wondering are these sofrware integrated quite well already?

If I have some older Flux simulation, can I open it in SimLab and solve it?

Best

Jerome.

In the current version of SimLab, there is no support to open the older flux simulation and solver. This is under development. We will keep you posted once it done.

    Hi Jerome,

In addition to what Santhoshkumar has mentioned, so far we have supported the following solutions in SimLab:

    1. Magnetic Transient:
      2D
      2.5D (Skew)
      3D
      Axisymmetric
    2. Magneto-Static:
      2D
      3D
      Axisymmetric

    3. Electrostatics - 3D

    4. Parasitics Extraction

Please let us know if you are interested in any other solutions than these or any particular feature that you are looking for. We can meet virtually and discuss how best we can help you in achieving your goals with regard to using SimLab for you simulation needs.

Thanks Aniruddha. What about Steady State AC Magnetic coupled with Transient Thermal 3D?

Some example like this but the substrate is composite plate, anisotropic definition?

Steady State AC Magnetic solution will be available in the 2024 version of SimLab which might be released by next month.

A coupled solution with Transient Thermal 3D is still under development.

Please keep an eye on the blogs of feature updates by Santhoshkumar. All the feature updates and new features added are listed there.

If you have any specific requirement and need additional assistance, please feel free to write to us (hwsupport@altair.com) and we will get in touch with you for an online meeting.
