    Hi,

Make sure you have selected the right .fem file.

The names of .fem file and .sh should be the same.

If the model is already loaded, you can toggle to 'Use current'

Note: Export the deck to the same working directory before you 'use current' option.

    Hi,

I am following OS-3020 tutorial and at the OSSmooth button click I get 'Invalid Element Count in .sh file'. I tried using 'use current' like you mentioned but still no luck.

    Thanks

    Hi @Mou

In OSSmooth, can you uncheck ISOSURFACE and try again?

    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi Punith,

    What is the optimization about?

What do you mean by Unclicking ISOsurface?

    Hi Punith,

Uncheck the ISo surface and it should work. Shape optimization works on node movements and not on material density changes.

    Punith,

Uncheck the ISO surface block and change the option from NONE to SHAPE  make sure your OSSmooth panel looks like as shown in image

one more question. I see that when I export the model in .iges format my designers are not able to import it in CATIA V5. They are able to read only in .step file format.Any suggestions?.
