Problem with Ply Stacking Sequence Optimization
Hello,
I created a laminate for my composite-shell. The responses created for this optimization were mass and static displacement1 and static displacement2. Therefore, the dconstraints are disp_1 and disp_2 were created, in order to limit the displacement of specific nodes, selected at the response definition. The Free size and size optimization went satisfactory but the ply stacking optimization won't converge. Looking at the output file, the displacements slightly over the upper bounds defined for the displacement constraints.
What I don understand is, why the calculation won't converge, because the ply-layup optimized in the first two steps, do fulfill the constraints. Do I have to adjust somehow the responses or design constraints, in order to get feasible constraints?

yes I have applied stacking constraints in the composite shuffel panel. I have shared the wrong model file in the dropbox, so the correct model file ('inner_shell_zone_laminate.hm) is attached here.

If yes, Did both converged to feasible desgin?

yes I have used the same constraints for free size and size optimization and it converged to feasible design. Using the same constraints at stack optimization resulted in infeasible design.

So I tried the shuffling with and without any shuffling constraints and still the run fails to find a stacking sequence.
Can you share the out files for the freesize and size optimizations?
Meanwhile I will try with a combination of options.
