Accessing an Altair License from an Application

Important: This article does not apply to On-Premise licenses.

 

The default method to access an Altair license is directly from the application License Setup dialog. It is available from HyperWorks, the Inspire Suite, SimLab and SimSolid. For other applications, please refer to Accessing the Altair License from the Altair License Utility.

1. Open the License Setup dialog using one of the below options:

  • If you have not already configured your license, this window will automatically popup when you start your application.

 

  • If this is not the case, please navigate to File > Licensing.

2. In the License Setup dialog, fill in your Altair One credentials under the Hosted on Altair One section.

3. Click Activate.
