Import model into abaqus
Hello, they asked me to create a project for a studio. I have to hypermesh the mesh of my model and then I was told to import the mesh into Abaqus for static nonlinear analysis. I created my mesh correcting all the errors I had but now I have a problem. Can I import my model into abaqus to add forces and constraints and then do the required analysis? Can you explain to me better? Thank you very much!

In Abaqus you will import your model from HM. Don't forget to assign material and properties.
Antonio,
this is an OptiStruct forum.
You should ask OptiStruct questions, don't you agree?
Like mentioned above, if you're using HyperMesh to build your model, then you coild build the whole model in HM and export it to Abaqus, including the loads ans bcs.
If I'm not wrong, there are tutorials in HM help for setting abaqus models.
Also I believe you might find some videos in YouTube for all of this.
This is intended to be a OptiStruct forum..not Abaqus.

Anyway, in HM you are able to set all your model to the end and export and run in Abaqus later.
I'm not super familiar to abaqus, but i believe you just need to export your mesh in .inp file in Abaqus user profile and then import this mesh in Abaqus and get it finished there.
My suggestion is searching for the steps at Google or youtube. I'm pretty sure there are some instructions for 'importing external model to Abaqus'.
Hope this helps.
