To be accurate, Material's Young modulus is different according to pressing and pulling.

Can I set the two value for 1 material?

    Hi VAL1

It is possible if you use an orthotropic material card.

According to online help MAT 3 has the capability to apply youngs modulus in different directions.

Have a check at the different card capabilities from the online help

    Hello VAL1,

If you performing simple tension & compression individually, you can create two material with different E value. Make two prop & two loadstep.
