How to automesh CFD elements with multiple layers of enclosement

Hi, I know that I can generate 3D elements in enclosed  2D elements. What if I have another group of enclosed 2D elements suspended in the enclosed 2D elements? If I only want to generate 3D elements in the space between them, what shall I do? For instance, I want to mesh a spherical shell, which is enclosed by two enclosed spheres.
