Thermo-Stress Analysis

Hello Experts,

My main aim is a topology optimization of the middle green solid based on several Loadcases.

But for now I want to put different temperatures on the trusses, for example 20 Kelvin on the right (red and blue) and 310 Kelvin on the left (bright blue and yellow). I dont want to consider heat conductivity since this would increase the complexity and needed performance.

So far I did temperatures on the mentioned trusses with TEMPD Card. But how can I do linear static analysis and get the resulting stresses?
I created a loadstep with SPC and let the LOAD: free and under SUBCASE OPTIONS I set TEMP (See Picture 2)

what am I doing worng?

I'm quite new in this.

Best regards

    You can reference this tutorial.

Just as a reminder, TEMPD is a global temperature card, applied to all grids/nodes that has no TEMP associated.

Usually we apply TEMP for each node to map different temperatures to each part.

Then select the load collector containing the TEMPs into youir linear static case.
