Hi LisaWood,
From help '
5. | If displacement boundary conditions specified by non-zero SPC or SPCD’s which exist in preceding subcase (say, Subcase 1) are removed in the subsequent nonlinear subcase (say, Subcase 2), then the SPC force resulting from non-zero SPC or SPCD in Subcase 1 would be gradually ramped down to zero in Subcase 2. |
6. If the deformed shape resulting from the preceding subcase requires to be unchanged in Subcase 2, then the D field should be set to “F” on the SPC or SPCD entries.'
Unfortunately there is no way to change with in SPC, but you can edit the deck in any text editor and replace with F
Hi,
Do you mean no information is carried from 1 subcase to another?
If the deformed shape resulting from the preceding subcase requires to be unchanged in Subcase 2, then the D field should be set to “F” on the SPC or SPCD entries.
