    Hi

If you are setting the model for Radioss, there is not possible to offset the midsurface plane to one of the externa or internal surface within the /PROP/TYPE1.

You will need to mesh the part considering the midsurface location, or offset the mesh.

One option is if you were using composite property, like /PROP/TYPE11. Within this you can offset .

I hope this information is helpful

    Regards

    Thank you very much.

I have one layer of solid elements between the two layer of shell elements

    - meshing the part considering the midsurface location, or offset the mesh: I think the thickness of the solid element will be higher than it actual thickness

    -  /PROP/TYPE11 is not compatibilible with MAT2 what I would like to simulate.

    Do you have any suggestion?
