How to set Z-offset for shell elements?

Hello

I would like to set the Z-offset for shell elemetns.

I found that we cant use Card edit, however I could not find Z-offset opiton.

Could you please show me how to do?

    Hi 

    If you are setting the model for Radioss, there is not possible to offset the midsurface plane to one of the externa or internal surface within the /PROP/TYPE1.

    You will need to mesh the part considering the midsurface location, or offset the mesh.

     

    One option is if you were using composite property, like /PROP/TYPE11. Within this you can offset .

    I have one layer of solid elements between the two layer of shell elements

    - meshing the part considering the midsurface location, or offset the mesh: I think the thickness of the solid element will be higher than it actual thickness

    -  /PROP/TYPE11 is not compatibilible with MAT2 what I would like to simulate.

    Do you have any suggestion?
