Hello,

I want to perform direct transient dynamic analysis on a structure. There is a variable pressure acting on the structure.

I studied the optistruct tutorial for direct transient dynamic analysis named:

Direct Transient Dynamic Analysis of a Bracket- RD- 2020

link: https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Hyperworks/help/hwsolvers/hwsolvers.htm?radioss_motionsolve_and_optistruct_tutorials.htm

But here they have used Darea for a force. How can I use Darea for pressure? so that I can simulate variable pressure on my structure?

Thanks

    Hi Satish,

You can reference PLOADx in RLOAD card to have pressure as excitation,

I have pressure values in table format which are varying with time. I want to simulate it. I tried using rload load collector but no results.

can u pls give some more details?

    Hi,

Which version of Hyperworks you are using?

Even you can try with converting presssure value to force.

    Hi,

Im not sure how to convert pressure to force values for complex geometry.

    Satish,

Since you are doing a transient dynamic try with TLOAD1 card.

In the Excited refer this pressure load and for TID refer the TABLED1 table with time dependent pressure load values.

    Prakash,

    It worked with tload1 card.

    Thank you.
