Hi,
I do not understand what the Coordinate Systems are for?
first grid and second grid are the nodes to connnect with the revolution joint i believe.
But how is the axis for the rotational freedom defined and what reason have the GID1 and GID2?
Could somebody please explain this real quick. My analysis does not work out.
Thank you
Please take a look at JOITG documentation at OptiStruct Help section.
There's also an example that could be found under the examples section.
GID1 and GID2 define the connection points (nodes connected by the joint).
CID is the coordinate system that defines the joint orientation.
example model found in the documentation.
Hi,
If you are using 2017.1 and above versions, Goto 1D panel>> Joints>> FE>> Select Revolute
