Hi everyone,
I need to create a revolute joint. As of now I am creating joints by creating C bush and making the required Rotational dof Free and other Dof as rigid.

Recently I came across the Joint panel. While looking at documentation it metioned as below

In below image we can see the joint panel. Can we use it for FEA or only we can use it for MBD ( motion view).

    Hi Parthiban,

You can use the Joint for FE model.

As you are looking for Revolute joint, you can toggle the joint type and select it.

    Thanks

    Hi Rajashri,

    Thank you for the reply.

There are two node selection options as First grid and second grid.  As the dependent component rotates with respect to independent component. In this which will be dependent and independent ( first grid or second grid ?)

In revolute joint, the motion is about X-rotation. If it is not coinciding with global x-axis then you need to create local system and assign it.
