Deformation

My problem is wrong deformation of two solids. You look at the image. Near the arrow can be seen overlapping cylinder mesh with meshes of the plan. Probably the program does not see well the area of the contact to me determined. can you help me?

In Hyper View you can get the contact area?
I dont think so. But you can export the deformed shape from HV and calculate the area in HM. Try this work-around.

Please explain what do you mean by the above statement?
The work around was to calculate only the contact area at a particular time step and it is not a ready to use deck.

Is it the master ad slave penetrating into each other?
If yes, you may have to recheck the contact definition.
Usually the slave mesh should ne finer compared to master. If both the mesh densities are same, the harder should be the master.
