Hi,

What Radioss material card is most appropriate to simulate a fluid filled cavity? Is it also possible to enter an initial pressure?

Best, J

    Hi,

/MAT/LAW6 can be used , which is used to model Hydrodynamic Viscous Fluid Material. Please go through the same material law and  Example 22.1 - Ditching using SPH  in Help Menu.

Isn't this a material to simulate fluid behaviour when impacting an object into fluid? I my case a have an enclosed capsule with a fluid filled gel-like material that should have incrompessible behaviour? Do you still think Law6 is the right material?

    Hi,

You can check with /MAT/LAW51.  Also /MAT/LAW6 (HYDRO) would be okay.

Please go through the Help Menu on /MAT/LAW 51 for more information and example files.
