Material Law for Flexible material
I am working on a tensile test of flexible material like plastic film and paper.
Have referred tutorial (RD-3500) for tensile test and they are using mat law 2 Johns zeril for there material.
Can I use the same law for the tensile test of flexible material.?

I have a query regarding material law used(MAT LAW 27).
I checked above shared model,observe the Failure model FAIL_FLD which require forming limiting diagram.
And also checked the MAT LAW 27 in help and observed following properties(Highlighted);

Now, the query is regarding....shall I used these properties instead of using the failure model FAIL_FLD ?
If yes,then will the behavior of flexible material (film) remains same...?
Hi Sir,
As per your suggestion,I used HF utility and loaded FL Curve.
But, I am getting the same FL Curve for the same model with different material properties.
Also I am getting same FL Curve for 2 different models as well.
Is it the case that FL curve for 2 different models and 2 different materials are same?(Please see attachments)
Plus I am using FL curve obtained in different test conditions. Is it right method?

Hi,
I run the deck shared by you and import the h3d file in HV.
Then load the FLC by using HF utility,getting the same curve for this model also(refer the attachments).
Also FLD used in a deck is not same as of FLD which is obtained in HV.
Kindly clarify the same.
