Creating a Wire Port (Mesh)

I would like to create a wire port on a meshed geometry. The FEKO documentation states that it can be done (https://2021.help.altair.com/2021/feko/topics/feko/user_guide/cadfeko/port_wire_mesh_feko_t-cadfeko.htm). When I tried the wire port is disabled for a meshed geometry. Can you provide a example how to define a meshed wire port?

    Hi @Shan25 ,

This should be possible without further ado:image

However, this may impossible using the right-click menu. Try with the top menu like in the pic above.

    Does this work?

    Best regards,
    Torben

In the attached file the wire port is disabled.

Can you please look at the model and let me why the option is disabled?

    Hi @Shan25 ,

the model contains neither wires nor segments (meshed wires). Therefore the option is disabled. In the attached model I have added a wire. Now you can set a wire port.

    Best regards,
    Torben

    Thanks for your reply!

Is it possible to define a delta gap voltage source directly on a meshed geometry?
