Hi, i must to analyze a structure subjects to SIN ON RANDOM VIBRATION.

The output request is the RMS STRESS FIELD for RANDOM FATIGUE VERIFICATION.

The input are 2 PSD curves (one for stocastic sin signal and one for randomic signal).

How i can perform this analysis in OPTISTRUCT?

Is it correct to do two random vibration analysis to obtain RMS stress and after to do a LINEAR SUPERPOSITION?

thank to all

You can use RANDPS to have two input loads.

From 2017 you can straight away carry out random response fatigue

You can refer to OptiStruct user guide for more information on RANDOM RESPONSE FATIGUE ANALYSIS and how to SETUP with two input

    Hello,

Actualy I'm not familiar with vibration calculations.

Has anyone already applied this kind of excitation on a model ? ( sine on random )

If it is possible, I 'd like to see such a card.

    Thanks.
