Hello!

What i am trying to do actually is to add skin depth to coil conductor faces for computing losses in detail instead fo simplified form. For that when I used skin depth macro and then meshed the domain nothing changes in the mesh. That's why, I am not able to access the detail losses option in winding geometry. Please help.

Thanks!

Regards

Hamza Azam

    Hi,
In Flux to consider the skin depth effect, you can do it using mesh generator type layers. To do it:
Mesh >> mesh generator >> new >> select mesh generator type layers (you need to fil all the data to create the mesh generator).
Once this is done, you assign this mesh generator to the volumes on which you want to see the skin depth effect.
    Best regards.
