Radioss LAW2: handling of flag ICC when c=0

Hi,

the Radioss Reference Guide states for LAW2 for field "ICC":

Strain rate computation flag 8
=0 (Default) Use default value
=1 Strain rate effect on
=2 No strain rate effect on
(Integer)

It is not clear to me what the value ICC=0 actually does. It should default to ICC=1 or ICC=2 because only these values have actual meanings.

Furthermore, it is stated for coefficient "c":

Strain rate coefficient c>=0
=0 No strain rate effect
Default = 0.00 (Real)

and in comment 8:

The ICC flag defines the effect of strain rate on the maximum material stress sigma_max. Figure 68 shows the value of for the corresponding ICC flag.

What is not clear to me is the behavior for the combination c=0 and ICC=1. The value c=0 disables strain rate effects on the yield stress curve while at the same time ICC=1 enables the strain rate effect on the maximum yield stress.

Are the two parameters c and ICC independent from each other or does c=0 imply ICC=1, ignoring the user input value?

    If c is set 0.0 though, there should be no effect as it is used in the sigmax calculation
