As per Release notes, resolved issue section, i see we had some issues with 2017.2 version using NLOUT card which is fixed in OptiStruct 2017.2.1.(Do you have NLOUT in your deck?)See attached screen shot from help.As suggested please try running in latest version and check.

So the latest version is HyperWorks Solvers-2018 with Hotfix: HyperWorks Solvers-2018.0.1

Could you please share the type of analysis you are running and version of OptiStruct? If possible share .out file.
