Adding a fix
Hi
I have to add my first SLC fix to our server installation (maintenance build 4.4.6.0.5818 ).
And I found this - and I guess it is okay (4.4.6.0.5828)
So I have downloaded this fix - and when I did this - I saw that the file size is the same as the original installation. Then I was a little worried and would like to know
1. Is this an entire new installation ?
2. The customized files (cfg etc.) will they be overwritten ?

Hi Tom,
Yes each maintenance build is an full installation to replace the existing installation of WPS / SLC.
You do need to watch out for config settings in the file wps.cfg in the top level installation folder for SLC:
C:\Program Files\World Programming\WPS\5\wps.cfg
Custom settings are often placed in that file so make a copy of the file somewhere safe before upgrading.
