I am trying to do a welding simulation in optistruct. I want to simulate a moving heat source over a period of time. How can i do it??

    This is a linear transient heat transfer analysis case.You could refer to the below online help tutorial or download free on thermal analysis with OptiStruct using below link.

    Thank you so much for this information. But in the above analysis, there is a time dependent loading on a single point. I need help for activating loads at different nodes along the weld, at different time intervals. can you please suggest something about this.
