applying a distributed flux

Hello everybody,

i followed the guide OS-1090 for linear transient heat transfer but instead of using a constant value for the heat flux i want to use a gaussian distribution.

How can i apply that in optistruct?

    Hi @Erdinc92

     

    Define the scale factor in TABLED1. In tutorial the Y is 1 from 0 to 500. But you can change depending on time.

    Thank you for the reply @Prakash Pagadala,

    but i want to apply a heat flux which is circular and decreases from the middle point to the border in a gaussian distribution. Without taking time into account yet, how can i do this?
