Hi @Prakash Pagadala. I know this tutorial.
I ve 2 problems:
1) I want to apply a unifom pressure on a surfarce with about 30000 nodes (my model is similar to a pressurized cylinder) in normal direction . Is it possible this thing in DAREA card?
2) How can I apply my semi-sin load (0 - 3000 psi - 0 @ 1 Hz) on TABLED1?
Thank you
yes you can use pressure as load type which can be refereed in RLOAD# card.
I am trying to understand the loading. SO is it like at 0Hz the load is zero, at 1 it is 3000 and at 1 it is again zero?
If the above is correct then it cannot be a sine wave. Can you provide the right curve values.
Prakash Pagadala,
the load spectrum in time domain is:
0 psi @ t=0 sec;
3000 psi @ t=1 sec;
0 psi @ t=2 sec.
What I put on TABLED1 and DAREA?
In DAREA, i can not allocate the pressure (3000 psi) in right way, because there isn't the possibility (i'm not expert in dynamic analyzes !)
to assign a pressure on a cylindrical coord system (in radial direction) or normal to sufaces.
is it possible to use a generic PLOAD4 to assign this pressure and refer it on RLOAD card?
Thank's for your support.
You can use PLOAD4 in RLOAD. RLOAD is supports PLOADx as excited load. You can give PLOAD as 1 and provide the 3000 factor in tabled1
thank you @Prakash Pagadala
No Problem. Please let us know if you face any road blocks during the simulation and we will do our best to help you out /emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20'>
Hi @Fabiano.Pagliarini Here is a sample tutorial for Modal frequency analysis. This should help you to model FRF deck.
