In Non linear Explicit - Optistruct Solver,

When we are using

TTERM=0.01

Load is applied as force in Z direction,

Is this mean, TTERM=0.01 means terminate the RUN at 0.01 time and Load is also applied as F*0.01 ,

Full load will get applied at Time =1.

    Hi Zarana,

In  NL explicit , TTERM=Termination time, nothing to do with load multiplication.

    Thanks

    Thank You for your reply.

    Please can you tell,

what is the diffrenece between TTERM=1 and TTERM=0.01

Because default termination time is 1.

when I use 0.01 and 1, what is the difference it is gonna create in Analysis.

One point I understood is with 1, computation time is higher.

I want to understand, what is the difference it is going create on results.

    Thanks,

    zarana

If your model unit system is in Ton, mms, sec then the termination time unit is calculated in sec.

Hence when you are running for 1sec, computation time will be higher compared to 0.01sec.

    Hope this clarifies your doubt.

    Thanks
