How to solve the Problem of Intersections - Inspire Motion

Hello, i wanted to start a motion simulation in inspire motion but i have a window that my model hast parts with intersections.

After that i build contacts between these parts to prevent the to parts "cutting" in each other but this did not solve the problem.

How can i solve this problem?

Thanks

    Hello Ali,

First, did you select the option on the warning dialog to Review the intersections so that you could (visually) verify whether or not these are normal (acceptable) intersections?  If they are acceptable, select the option to not show the message again.  The reason for the warning is....

Initial intersections between parts can present difficulties in solving contact models and affect the accuracy of results. It is not mandatory that the intersections be removed before running the simulation; a contact model with some minor overlaps may still solve without having any adverse effect on results. Plotting the initial contact Force and contact Penetration can help you decide whether the intersection should be removed. However, if parts defined in a contact are intersecting at the start of the simulation, it could cause the simulation to run more slowly and/or display erratic behavior between the contacting parts.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello Scott Z,

    thank you for your answer.

I did select the option to show the parts with intersection. At first i tried to solve the problem by using contacts but it did not help. After that i tried it with the penetration. And this also did not help. And at last i solved it by reconstruction these parts.

Thank you and have a nice day.
