    Hi Soraya,

I'm not clear on the question, could you expand on the case?

If it's related to importing a fluid velocity field or similar we have a tutorial here

    Lift and Drag

What i meant is, if it's possible to represent the velocity on a plane rather than 3D representation ?

    Hi Soraya

It is possible to import a velocity field as a plane as opposed to a 3D representation. You must note that EDEM takes the closest eight points to interpolate the field value at a certain particle location.

Even if your particles are not on the plane, EDEM will take the closest eight points to the particle location to interpolate the field value at that location.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
