    Hi @stefano.carrino

Yes, please use NLSTAT analysis type (non linear quasi-static analysis)

    Thank you Prakash,

but I need to execute a transient analysis in order to simulate a packet wave propagating through a  delamination (for this reason the analysis is non linear because I´m using a contact with possibility of separation).

    Hi @stefano.carrino

Can you try with RADIOSS instead of OptiStruct?

There is a tutorial for RADIOSS about this analysis?

    Hi @stefano.carrino

You can either do a non-linear transient which uses Large displacement in OptiStruct. Please search for non-linear transient in the forum to ger related posts. But, delamination effects can't be captured.

You can also perform an impact kind of analysis using RADIOSS. Unfortunately, we don't have a tutorial for the same.
