ERROR: error occurred executing acuPrep / ERROR :No RUN command found / Hypermesh CFD 2025

Hi,

I have spent the past two consecutive days attempting to run a CFD simulation using HyperMesh. However, every time I attempt to run the simulation, it gets canceled and the following log file appears ( attached image).

I have successfully run other simulations earlier this week without encountering any such issues. I don’t believe the issue is in the pre-processing stage, as I carefully repeated the setup multiple times to make sure nothing was missed. However, I am still learning and don’t have much experience, so I might be making some simple mistakes.

If anyone can help me, I’d really appreciate it!

The error messages indicate the input file cannot be found - so it's possible it's being written to an unintended location - not consistent with where the solver is looking. Or - sometimes spaces or special characters in directory or problem names can cause issues.

Can you add an image of the Launch Solver panel - with that panel wide enough to show the complete paths / directories for all entries?

    Thanks for your reply!

Just checking, is this the image you need?

Could the "çõ" be causing issues for the solver in locating the file?

Yes - those could definitely be causing the issues. HyperMesh CFD probably cannot determine where to write the files - then cannot open the input file as they cannot be found.

Best to modify the name for that problem directory.
